Cambodia Development Organization for Children

Cambodia is in many aspects dependent on contacts with foreign countries (NGO's and tourism). In view of the future it is very important that the children can speak and read English as a second language. Indeed English is compulsory in the secondary schools, but the completely different nature of the language compared to Khmer demands many class hours, which is impossible in the regular school schedule.

In the CAMDOC Training Center (CTC) in Roeul we offer children free access to daily English classes. For he more advanced we use computer supported courses according „New Headway“. In our small library can improve reading books and do self training with the computer. In total  ca. 250 Schüler participate in this program. MEanwhile we have 4 english teachers who additionally teach English in remote primary schools.
